Wij hebben voor onze zoon z'n eerste verjaardag een cakesmash geboekt bij Vicky nadat we foto's van haar zagen op Instagram. Het was wel een stuk rijden maar het was het helemaal waard. Vicky is een attente, lieve fotograaf met veel geduld voor kinderen. We werden warm ontvangen in een mooie, ruime studio. Ze had broodjes en drinken voor ons klaarstaan omdat wij van ver kwamen (Noord-Nederland). Het resultaat van de fotoshoot was schitterend. Om een heel lang verhaal kort te houden... topfotograaf met oog voor detail. Dankjewel Vicky voor de mooie foto's. Liefs uit Nederland.

Onze newbornshoot bij Vicky was zo'n mooie ervaring. Vicky is een schat van een vrouw, met engelengeduld. We kregen een heel uitgebreide fotoreportage, op maat van onze wensen en met de professionele ervaring van de fotografe. Het resultaat mag er dan ook zijn. Héél erg bedankt voor de mooie herinneringen aan onze dochter! Die gaan we heel erg koesteren.

Zeer professionele, lieve dame die het heel goed aanpakt. Er was meteen een goede, vlotte communicatie via mail. En bij aankomst werden we goed ontvangen. Alles werd met onze 11-jarige dochter besproken. De foto's zijn dan ook prachtig. Als we in de toekomst nog eens een shoot plannen, komen we zeker terug.

We zijn ongelooflijk blij met het resultaat van onze newbornshoot. Helemaal hoe we het ons ingebeeld hadden. Vicky heeft al onze wensen ingevuld in combinatie met haar eigen, creatieve touch. Beste Vicky, ik wil je nog eens heel, heel, heel hard bedanken. Hanne zo zien stralen op de foto's en haar telkens weer zo zien genieten hier thuis van de mooie beelden die je maakte, is zalig. Ik betrap me erop dat ik elke keer als ik de foto aan de muur zie hangen, stilsta en blijf kijken. We koesteren de herinneringen aan de shoot en de prachtige foto's voor altijd. Bedankt om ons zo gelukkig te maken. Warme groeten.

Vicky, it would be obvious to insist on your mastery of technique because you demonstrate it in each of your images. You light masterfully, not only in the search for the perfect portrait, but also in the creation of atmospheres where the personality of your models is reflected.
For this you use soft or hard lights, colour or black and white, light or dark backgrounds... You vary depending on the feelings you want to show in each occasion.
However, this time the image you present is an explosion of joy that goes beyond technique to show us a magical moment. It is true that the lighting and retouching are present, but all the credit goes to your skill in capturing this unique and fleeting moment when the mother kisses her little baby while smiling and looking at the camera.
There is so much strength in these gestures, so much love, that everything else takes a back seat. the wonderful composition, the limited colour palette, the very soft contrast, no shadows... everything pales before the wonderful catchlight in the little one's eyes or the happy expression of mum.
No superfluous elements are needed to make the image more spectacular, no saturated colours. Nothing is missing, nothing is superfluous. Everything is there.
We cannot make an in-depth analysis of your photograph because are eyes are drawn again and again to that moment of infinite tenderness that fills everything with happiness.
We sincerely thank you for sharing it with us because it is a breath of fresh air in its simplicity. Congratulations once again on your extraordinary work.

Vicky, once again one of your photographs occupies a place on the podium, and once again, you present us with an image where tenderness is the main element. It is true that lighting is of outstanding quality, with a huge contrast and controlled to the millimetre.
It is true that it is a visual delight to be able to enjoy the details with total clarity even in the dark areas (the hand holding the baby's head, the hair tangled in his fingers... everything demonstrates a technical mastery of light that is simply overwhelming).
It is true that by very cleverly reducing the tonal range you have increased the visual impact to the maximum. It is true that retouching is sublime and goes completely unnoticed, as it should.
But once again, as is characteristic of your photographs, all that fades away next to the tenderness of the kiss, that moment of ultimate love between the father and his baby.
Once again you have created an image that will be part of this family's legacy forever. And once again you have managed to make all your technical knowledge, all the preparation time, become invisible and only the strenght of simplicity remains, the art of the minimum, the essential.
This photograph deserves to be enlarged to enjoy all its strenght, its details, the baby's eye looking at his father, that hand raised in a gesture of joy, those lips touching...
